Ex- partner here, looking for help with coming back.(self.starbucksbaristas)

So around 2 years ago I left starbucks on some not so great terms, but later realized how irresponsible that was and started applying to my old store and others. Now I finally got a call back and was invited to a job fair this week, anyone know what kind of questions I should be prepared for this time around?

In relation to your previous history, I imagine the questions about why you left. How will things be different this time around? (What can you do to show management you can stick with the job AND what are things the management can do to support you that you didn’t get the previous time you worked?)
Most of the questions I had as a barista were pretty basic. Never worked in retail before.

I’m a rehire and I went to two job fair before they took me back.
Along with my usual interview charm, I literally said “I was young and dumb, and leaving Starbucks was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. I’m gonna keep coming back until you hire me or tell me to stop.”

Were you marked as a none rehire in the system? That may make a huge difference getting past that one. But my friend got Into our manager almost 7 years ago and just got her job back. She was listed as a dont rehire and she physically had to go into a Starbucks and talk to a manager and explain everything that happened. It was ridiculous. All in all I mean she is back and actually at a healthy store now and got to keep her partner numbers from back then :) stay confident and know you deserve this job. Because you do!
