Has anyone done a incident report on a costumer before and if so why and what dose that accomplished

Had a homeless guy pretty regularly misuse the space/leave big messes. I filed two reports, and my DM gave me the okay to call the non emergency number and have him trespassed.

And why do you need to make those reports
vador2244 [OP] 1 points 3y ago
Dose it matter that he was homeless or was it that Starbucks just wanted him gone

So, to answer these all; I needed a history of complaints for corporate justification (they’ve landed in hot water so now they want a history), and he’s harassed customers as well as baristas. DM didn’t really care about the baristas, but customer complaints, especially through an IR? Plenty enough to validate my complaints. Violation of the third place policy and all of that.

Edit: it didn’t matter that he was homeless really. We’ve also trespassed a former barista, a local “celebrity” and handful of perverts. We had to prove a history of offenses each time. The Third Place policy is key. Literally, it’s a vibe check to keep the coffee shop feel.

So please remind of how the third place policy works again

So you had your dm arrested him why can't store just call the cops

If you have enough evidence, it should get worked out within a few weeks. Depends on your DM and/or the nature of the incident.

I did one on my shift leader at the time. He got a final corrective action. I have since quit the company cause I was tired of Starbucks as a place of employment.

If you file enough incident reports, your dm will come to observe and you could possibly gain more coverage depending on the situation. Filing incident reports are so important and need to be done to keep track of patters and reoccurring issues so things can be resolved. It helps you and your store out immensely in the long run.

How many complaints do you have to file on a customer for Gm to finally kick someone out
