Omg, once I got to my store exactly on time and was trying to rush to clock in, and one of my coworkers would not stop talking to me. I ended up clocking 5 minutes late.

That does suck, but try to set some boundaries for yourself and stick to them. They were taking up your time, yes, but you allowed them to.

This is when you just write your punch in the DRB and call it good cause fuck being late
sdkid92 4 points 3y ago
Or clock in late because you have horrible time management and blame the iPad for being late 😅

Seriously. I always try to be at my store AT LEAST 10 minutes early to avoid any tardiness. I usually get to my store much earlier than 10 minutes before the shift because I time my schedule to leave to be there on time even if a car accident is holding up traffic

This is exactly what I was thinking lol

This happens to me a lot. Can we get in a lot of trouble for being 1m too late or early?
RealGregHuman 3 points 3y ago
Lol, I would kill for my partners and I to have an arrival time of +/-1 minute the scheduled time
sheriff_spike 2 points 3y ago
Wdym?
RealGregHuman 1 points 3y ago
It means that in my experience partners either show up early or whenever

My brother and I work at the same location and one of our old ASMs wrote him up for consistently being 2 mins late to punch in. But that ASM wasn't very fond of my brother at the time.

So yes, it is possible. But petty as fuck.
