OK I HAVE QUESTIONS. AT THIS POINT I'M TOO AFRAID TO ASK THOSE I KNOW(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by EmbarrassedFerret4
1. How much is a splash?
2. When people say they want room in their coffee, how much do I give them if they don't specify?
3. What shoes are considered dress code, because I see some things in the lookbook but many shoes aren't mentioned so idk if they are allowed?
4. How much are we paid for mileage if we pick up something at another store and come back?
5. Can I still get a markout if I haven't worked that week? (I haven't been because I felt like I didn't work for it but also the company isn't losing anything by me getting a bag of coffee a week. I think they can afford it)
6. What's allowed as far as makeup?
7. Can I find recipe cards online somewhere? Nobody knows where they are at my location
I'll edit this as I have more questions but please help ahaha

Yes, you can get a mark out if you haven’t worked that week!

I think that if your store has iPads that they’re loaded with an app that has recipe cards along with other useful information. Just found out about this at my store recently.

Should also be on the partner hub, I believe.

Which app! I looked in the siren app where they keep seasonal recipe cards but can never find the core ones or food cards

Shoot, maybe that’s the one I’m thinking about... don’t work until tomorrow but I’ll try to remember to check if it is

The look book doesn’t exist anymore. The dress code is at starbucks.com/dresscode
Recipes can be found in the mobile app

...as long as it isn't heavy amounts of glitter, or no sequins are involved! Glitter and sequins can fall off and get into drinks, that will likely be the only thing the SM will say no to.

Recipes can be found, if all else fails, on the partner hub.

For the splash and room it's really up to the barista, I try to work with the customer if it's slow or they're right there. Or I just eyeball it, there is no measurement.
You get reimbursed mileage the distance from store to store. so not the entire displacement if you have to drive farther then normal from home. Just the distance from your home store and the store you are visiting. The amount paid per mile should be calculated by your SM on the page in the daily records book or the "big book"

If you ever forget a recipe, I always just check the reg if it’s not busy. All the ingredients are on the right. Easy
