We have a regular that always requests 12 ice cubes in his pike because it’s the perfect amount to make it drinkable. He always watches to make sure it’s right.

And people will try to watch and count that shit too.

A lady asked me for TWO berries in her hibiscus refresher. I asked if she meant two scoops and she said, “no, just two ACTUAL berries, just two.”

The people who specify the exact number of ice cubes, it's because they've learned if they say light ice they always end up with a load of ice. If they say something ridiculously small like 3 ice cubes or 6 ice cubes, they actually get light ice.

I appreciate that they are specific. That way they're not disappointed, and I don't have to remake their drink.

I still shake all my cold bev drinks with ice I just strain them and put fresh ice/ no ice/ light ice upon request Old bar tending habits.

We have someone who dies this exact same thing!
