Hello hello! I recently got hired at Starbucks, and my training in scheduled next month with some various in-store computer stuff before then. My store is high volume and is open the earliest/latest in the area.
My first-and only-two years of work experience has been with a small-scale specialty coffee roaster, that I joined while earning my AA. I understand handling multiple blends of coffees, organic certification procedures, and fulfilling both retail and wholesale orders. I decided to leave due to various reasons, and one of them was to pursue a career that'll allow me to be in customer service and help me work towards completing a Bachelors (in Psych or Sociology). I thankfully landed a job at Starbucks about a week later! I'm pretty excited to work there, since I've been wanting to work with coffee since high school, and it seems like a coffee job lands in my lap when I'm least expecting it.
Any advice?
