As far as I’m aware, as long as they’re in the store and getting a refill that same day they’re allowed a refill of iced/hot coffee or hot/ iced tea. They can even change the size.
Now if they’re coming in with a cup from a different store or day then yeah they can go fall in a ditch.

Wait I thought if even if you purchased an espresso drink, you can still get a refill of coffee, iced coffeee, and teas for like 60 cents or free your a rewards member.

Wait but he could have gotten an ice coffee refill. As long as you bought a drink and stayed in store, you can get an ice coffee, tea, or hot coffee refill regardless of what the original drink was (if you are a corporate store).

I.... what??? This entire scenario was uncalled for. Like, normally I understand and can sympathize when customers suck, but this boils my blood today. I wish corporate would enforce better training guides so baristas wouldn’t even have to deal with this kind of situation due to ignorance.
The policy is as follows: When you use your registered Starbucks Card or Mobile app to purchase a beverage and then present that same Starbucks Card or Mobile app, you can get **free refills of brewed coffee (hot, Iced Coffee or Cold Brew), and tea (hot, or iced) during the same store visit regardless of the original beverage** at participating Starbucks stores.
Take note of “regardless of the original beverage”
I wish this policy would just be stickied here or something...
