My acting SM won't even look at my resume (self.starbucksbaristas)

A little backstory.
So I've worked for a licensed store before, for not quite a year but more than a few months. Now I'm at a corporate store, have been for a year. Not too long ago our store got an ASM. Our SM went on maternity leave a few weeks ago but before leaving prompted me to apply for a shift position opening up as one of our partners was moving on to bigger and better things. I applied, of course. Well, the decision was put into the ASM's hands seeing as our SM would be away for a couple months.
The ASM and I sat down, had a long talk, and I've been busting ass for the position. I didn't get it. Instead we got two transfers. Both shift supervisors. One left a couple weeks after coming on and the other is stepping down, making a position immediately available.
Another partner and I applied for the position again.
This time they sat down and had a long talk with the ASM, who has since been promoted and will be leaving when the current SM returns.
What the partner was told was that our previous ASM (now acting SM) is not even going to look at our resumes. Not even the cover letter, and has no intention in promoting either of us.
Now, I could understand that if I lacked the skillset to be a good supervisor but I consistently recieve praise from the other shifts and they have all been outspoken about wanting me to be promoted to the position. Yes, even telling the acting SM this.
I have been busting my butt doing everything possible to prove I'd be a good fit. And they won't even look at my application. I just dont know what to do at this point other than give up, leave my wonderful team and transfer to one of the many locations closer to home. It's been suggested that I talk to my actual SM but shes on maternity leave, and I doubt there's much she can even do about it. Especially since the acting SM is planning on getting the spot filled before she comes back.
So, with that said, what do you all think I should do? Wait? Text my SM? Transfer?
(Apologies for format, I'm on mobile)

maybe you can run it by your SM to speak with your DM about it? Depending on what your relationship with your DM is. partners should be treated better than this. What could be the reason for not promoting deserving people??

I "haven't developed the skillset needed" was the excuse I've heard used by the acting SM for me and the other applicant a few weeks ago when I last applied. Which, if that's the case, why not sit down with me and tell me what needs work? A huge part of me thinks she just doesn't want to spend the hours training someone and would rather hire someone who already holds the position. I just feel bad bothering my poor SM while she's on leave 😖 the last thing I want her worrying about is what's going on in the store while she's got a newborn to tend to but it bothers me so much because she's who prompted me to apply the first time. Something just doesn't add up to me.

Transfer ASAP. While you're waiting for a transfer try to get very specific answers about what they're looking for, or what hesitations they have about promoting you. You don't want to repeat this at another store.
