Me, a green bean of 1 ish month: Hi, what can I get for you today?
Customer: I want a venti peach tranquility but iced
Me, confused cuz it’s a hot tea: alright! Hold on a sec, I think we can make that? *proceeds to ask my best boss ever if we can do that cuz I’m not sure*
Boss to customer: We can do that! It will just take a few minutes as we need to steep it and then ice it
Customer: what? I don’t understand what you’re telling me, I get this all the time why did you have to go ask her? What?
Boss: yes I understand, I’m just, making sure that’s what you want and if you have the time to wait?
Customer: I get it all the time! Idk what you’re trying to say, why are you asking?
Boss: *explained again*
Customer: I still don’t understand but whatever just do what you need to do I guess, I get it all the time so idk why you are asking me these things
Boss to me later: Dang what’s up with her? You’re new so I didn’t expect you to know if we could do that or not. Good job.
I just had to share this cuz the confusion was real
Edit: I forgot to add that she did indeed have the Karen haircut

I had a customer coming in a couple weeks ago who ordered a maple pecan latte. I was like "oh that was actually just a seasonal drink during the 2018 holidays" and she was like "I get this all the time" I was like.. where though? 😶
