Hi y’all, I am looking to transfer from San Diego, CA to Austin, TX, and am curious about pay. I am currently making a little bit over 13.30/ hr and was wondering what people in Austin are making, if anyone could give me some input, thanks :)

Turn around and go back. As a long time Texas native, it’s not worth it.
Austin use to be a cool “artistic/funky” town about 20 years ago. But between the gross weather, the SEVERE overcrowding and the pay cut + local inflation you will be happier in San Diego.

I transferred from within TX and my pay went down. Pretty sure you'll see a slight decrease, unfortunately. You're making very near the barista cap in my area
