Salted Caramel Frappucino? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by danslavraievie
So I have someone at least once a month who tries to order a salted caramel frappuccino. The first time it happened, I made a salted caramel mocha frap bc that's the drink we have? And the lady was like "This isn't what I ordered" and I'm like?? So later when I got home I tried googling "Starbucks salted caramel frappuccino" to see if a previous drink like this existed (I work at a Tarbux so I usually work alone and my manager doesn't really know much about the drinks). Anyway all I found was the salted caramel mocha one.

Does anyone else have people often asking for this drink that doesn't exist?? Do you just make them a caramel frap and put salt on it? What do you do?

Help

tbh people get this frequently at my store. i make it as a SCMF (so toffee nut syrup) & put wc, caramal drizzle and sea salt on top. so quite literally the SCMF but without mocha. idk that’s how our store does it

that’s what i’ve been doing and no one has complained yet so i’m just gonna keep rolling with it

try just a regular caramel frap with sea salt blended in? if you guys have that. or maybe just a caramel with sea salt and carm sauce on top?

I hate to add to your post with an unrelated but what do people mean when they say Tarbucks? For a while I thought people kept making the same typo lmao

Yeah I know, that's the salted caramel mocha frappuccino. I'm talking about when people just say "salted caramel" without the mocha

oh i misunderstood. yea i can usually infer what they mean so i’ll just make what i think they’re talking about and they usually don’t know enough about the drink to know if it’s even what they wanted most of the time lol
