Corona virus removes personal cups from our store, for safety. But when it comes to those stoppers, they’re in a cup for all y’all nasties to stick your finger in and grab a stopper 🤢it makes me ill when I see people using stoppers.

In the last three districts I have worked we weren’t allowed to have stoppers where the customers could touch them. They had to ask for them. And it also allowed a customer connection in the process.

It’s policy that the stoppers and drink carriers are out of customer reach. Our DM just came and railed us on this two days ago because our drink carriers were on our hoppers (mastrena 1) so I’m CERTAIN.

I'm mostly worried about how the current environmentally green efforts are helping spread things. Here in San Francisco we legally have to serve the cups without lids, with a stack of lids customers need to pick up for themselves. So open drinks, no stoppers (banned completely), and a bunch of people touching the lids. Which is great until some monster child comes up to handoff and open mouth coughs directly at everything while impatiently waiting for a drink their parent ordered seconds ago.
