Sedgwick and the rest are there to protect the company, not you. Use your attorney, and only do what you're able to do. Document EVERYTHING. Every conversation and with whom, etc.

Without a doubt! The best thing I did was get a lawyer from the jumpoff, I would have been totally screwed if I didn’t. Yes I took their name and made a couple notes on the conversation and called my lawyer immediately. He told me I don’t have to return if I know I’m not physically up for it. I am just a bit flabbergasted at the idea of my manager saying they can accommodate me when I know they can’t. When this all first started they told me I couldn’t return until I had a drs note, until I was 100%, there’s no light duty. I’ve updated them throughout this entire time and they’re aware I’m not able to return. I just have an odd feeling about this.
