First 10s exist for the most part but last 10s are virtually nonexistent unless you really beg for it and its slow. There's just not coverage tbh

All these ppl in the comments used to not getting their 10s :( I understand it’s a coverage thing but it’s still Starbucks policy and each and every one of us deserves a break.

This some bs. I have worked at 6 different stores in two different states and never had a culture of people not getting their breaks. At one, it was part of the culture that the shift in charge would sometimes work through their 10s, but never baristas.

I would call partner resources. I'm sure every other barista resents not being given their breaks as well.

Most DMs and SMs enforce a rule of no breaks during peak, so for the next 3 hours we're trying to catch up on breaks, and if you have a 4 hour shift and 2 of those hours are during peak, then it's really hard to give you a break.

We get 1 10 on a 5.50 shift, over 6 gets a lunch and 1 10, idk how many lunches I have skipped, or how many 10’s I’ve skipped. This place I swear

absolutely not - that's a problem if it's happening. my store is sometimes handled messily, but lunches and breaks are mandatory, even if we're slammed. you can't do your best if you're exhausted.

Mine just skip the second 10s for people over 7-8 hours

We always take first tens and lunch. As an ssv, I tell my partners that if they want their second one, just lmk. But most people don't. At that point you just want to get your work done and leave.
