an angry guy walks into my store.. (self.starbucksbaristas)

So this guy was already grumpy walking in. You could hear it in his voice and the overall facial expression. It was mid day, so we only had pike brewed and our pour overs.
man: I want two venti dark roasts.
me: okay! but it’s going to be a pour over.
man: what?! you DONT have coffee? what are those!? *points to empty coffee pots*
me: well, after a certain time we only have pour overs of some coffees. it’ll be ready in 5 mins and be extra fresh for you!
man: 5 MINUTES?! no, just give me 2 pikes. *proceeds to hand me $100 bill*
me: I can’t take the $100 sir, I can’t make change for it. I’m sorry.
man: so you don’t have coffee and you can’t take $100 bill? ridiculous.
So he walked out and my favorite regular was behind him and just shrugged his shoulders and said “eh, more coffee for me”. 😂

I love regulars who get it! And the $100 bill changers with an attitude are flexing their wealth more than anything. Don't they realize we'd need like $1500 in our tills to handle this, and that's a damn safety issue! No Chad, you're not the only person who would do this. We'd get 10+ customers a day with $100s.
