A) You’re the one here assuming they were implying violence when nothing of the sort was mentioned.

B) anyone with a single brain cell knows that assaulting someone (which *was not specified*), especially if they recognise you, off the clock can get you fired just as hard so they won’t do it if they value their job and the state of their criminal record, and (to my knowledge and experience) Starbucks doesn’t hire all that many absolute whackjobs that pose a threat to partners or customers so it’s unlikely that they’re actually serious about whatever they were talking about
