How do YOU clean the wand ?

Policy is that we can’t soak or scrape it and are supposed to just go crazy with the blue sponge. But, if it’s bad I use scissors lol

Soak it in ice water for a half an hour or so and scape the shit outta that sonofabitch with a hard plastic gift card (or if you’re me it’s a sharpened shank of a metal name tag)

I soak it in a venti cup with 4 Cafiza tabs filled with water from the hot spout. Let it sit for like 10 mins. Milk gets softened up enough to be wiped off with a sani rag. Purge it a bit afterwards of course.

Use those baby on the oven every day and you can take a Karen down in two swipes

Soak it in hot water and one of those pills that clean the espresso machine then scrape all the milk off

Soak in water for 10-20mins, then Swirlyboi from the pastry case opened so I can slide it up and down the wand and scrape off all the gunk.
Scrape, wipe with **clean, unused** towel, steam, repeat until no gunk is left, occasionally dipping wand back into a water cup (trenta!) and steaming the water for a little to help work out the gunk from inside the wand.

When I'm close to finished, I hold the wand away from the machine and steam for a while, letting it just spray out onto the floor.

Then one last swipe with the towel before replacing a cleaned sheath!

Lately I’ve been using the handle end of a bar spoon (obviously sending it to the wash after), it’s amazing how much it gets off! If I can find it we also have the little metal things that go in the display sandwiches. If I can’t use either, then a plastic gift card.
