I simply don’t understand the “rewards” obsession people have. It’s great to score an unexpected drink without having to “pay”...but when you’re an asshole about them, I just want to yell “YOU’RE ALREADY PAYING!!! THIS DRINK IS NOT REALLY “FREE” BECAUSE YOU COME IN HERE EVERY EFFIN DAY!!!” The kicker is during Happy Hour, she wants to BOGO, but pay with her stars. I explain(at length) that it won’t be possible because it’s only one promotion per purchase, “...but it’s MY money! What difference does it make if I spend it on a Latte, and it’s buy one get one, and I’m buying one, using my stars, so I should get one free!!” OMFG🤦🏾♀️ . She punished me by only getting one drink, using her stars instead of the BOGO. Have a nice night, see you tomorrow when you spend more money to accumulate more stars.🤷🏾♀️

"Her" stars aren't money. So no. In no no way is she "buying it" with "her money" or even "company money" it isn't a purchase. The MONEY in her app/card IS "her money" the stars are OUR way of tracking in OUR system when we may give a reward for being a loyal customer. Why must humans be so difficult?

I’m just SOOO tired of being at the mercy of customers moods. Everyday, no matter how nice I try to be, SOMEONE wants to complain to the shift, complain to DM, or YELP review only HALF of what actually happened, which in turn makes customer “connection” a nightmare! I definitely don’t feel seen, heard, supported or valued when I get reprimanded for a customer not having a good reaction to being told that Frapps can’t be made with NO ICE!!🤨

i work at a licensed store so we don’t redeem stars. i can’t tell you how many times he been yelled at for that and how many negative reviews our store has because of this
