I love how anything that happens just results in more work for us. Wash your hands x million times, sanitize, extra cleaning, extra deep cleaning, extra toilet cleaning blah blah.
Extra pay you say? An extra staff member on shift given you’re already understaffed? Oh, no sorry we are all a family and have to just work extra hard to look after each other!

Aquaphor is your best freind, try it. It does not wash off too easily at work which helps immensly with dey flaking skin, and no scent or anything to interfere with product.

Seems like they should provide gloves to change instead if people want. Give the option to change gloves, or wash your hands. Cracked bleeding hands is more of a health hazard.

Put super glue on the cracks, my hands and fingers crack in the winter without washing them 1000 times on a shift now.

A coworker asked me today if I'd gotten into a fight because my lefthand knuckles — where I get hand eczema the worst — have a bunch of cracks on them that look like scratches/abrasions. Nope, just a more intense version of the usual immune system knock-down drag-out I'm in every day of my life.

the body shop had a hemp lotion with bees wax so it stays on even after washing your hands. i have sensitive skin and my hands break out into painful rashes if i wash them too much. this has literally saved my hands. the tube is kinda pricy but they also have mini tubes that will last you a while.

it just sucks because i get bad reactions to sani as well so that on top of the hand washing timer is making my hands look and feel so awful. I hope this ends soon

Alot of contact made my skin flake or get irritated with the sani aswell. Youre not the only one. Have some lotion or such for after work if you need to.
