So last night Sbux sends an email out to customers about increasing social distancing in stores and different ways to order and such. Because they care so much about customers right?
Then today they send out an email about a bonus star rush for coming in multiple times this weekend. Great idea, let’s encourage a bunch of people to come in multiple times during a LITERAL PANDEMIC.
The greedy bastards have done a shit job of even pretending to care for customers.
I used to love this job, and I’ve never been so disappointed in this company.

I really hope that’s what’s going on. The email only went out like an hour ago so maybe they haven’t caught it yet. Hoping, but not expecting much.

I love how they *might* shut us down to just drive thru. Like, what if someone making drinks has the virus, but doesn't know it yet? What if sick people come through & we're exposed? They don't realize how nasty it is...touching credit cards, money, accidentally touching hands while exchanging drinks...ugh.

Do you know the number of high risk employees that Starbucks employs? Or better yet the number of high risk people they will be in contact with? What use is payment when they are sick?
(Sorry that this may seem like a harsh response but you seem to be sort of forcing yourself onto every Starbucks post about this virus. Please stop acting like that is a courageous decision that Starbucks has made. People in high risk categories are still being forced to work with the public or risk losing their jobs.)

If its bad enough to shut down café, shut down the whole store.
Corporate wants to continue making money but you cant make jack shit if this gets worse and all the customers are quarantined.
