Our SM recently put up a notice in the back saying that we are going to be starting an “on call” system and the newest schedule there’s a buuuuuuch of people listed as on call throughout the schedule. Now I was under the impression, that we don’t DO that here?? I didn’t know that managers were allowed to have people be on call? Is this a new Starbucks thing, or is shit, as always, just getting wild at my store

I have never heard of that before. Store managers are usually on call because they're salaried. That's it.

PCC said there’s no policy allowing or not allowing On Call, and that I have to reach out to my DM.
