Regarding hour cuts (self.starbucksbaristas)

Was informed by our SM we can expect major hour cuts in the next three months due to CV adjustments and such.
Does anyone know if we lose benefit eligibility because of this if Starbucks has us covered or would it be more of a case of Cobra?

No one will lose benefit eligibility, they posted something on the Hub.

Eligibility is usually only assessed in January and August(?) somewhere around there. So as long as you average 20 within those 6 month periods you’re fine.

I thought it was done in 3 month cycles?

In the US it’s every 6. You’re initial benefits start after 3 months and then every period after that it’s assessed as semiannual
