I live in Florida, we’ve such down ALL schools for coronavirus and I’m so disgusted that Starbucks hasn’t done the same! The other day our hot water heater broke and we have to shut down the store but a pandemic happens and everything’s fine.

You can self quarantine and starbucks can’t say shit about it. That’s what I’m doing right now. You can apply for a 14 day catastrophe pay as well if you or a loved one is sick, you’ve had a potential exposure, or you fall into the “moderate to high risk” category. I straight up told my manager I’m not coming in for two weeks. He tried to fight me on it, so I called my district manager and he told me nobody can force me to come in to work right now with what’s going on. He said anyone can choose to self quarantine if they would like.

I live with someone who could get incredibly sick even if they get the regular old flu. I don’t feel bad, personally.

Call PCC and express your frustration. Have friends and family call into customer service to question why stores are still open.
