My ASM is all about the “customer connections” and insists that we keep the drive thru window open at all times when there’s a customer there, no matter if they’re on the phone, don’t want to be talked to, let alone....SICK. There’s a whole pandemic going on and you’re making me keep the window open? For what?
I kept it closed today because it was pouring outside and they got onto me and said it was rude to have it closed. Ok whatever. Then, there was a customer that was coughing nonstop so I closed it because that’s just what a normal person would do. They rushed over and slammed it open and yelled at me in front of the customer.

So I ended up working drive thru with the window open at all times, even though there were multiple people sneezing and coughing through the window. I’ll be sure to give them the virus if I catch it because it’s their fault. Enjoy your customer connections dumbass
