So as everyone knows, CO-VID19 has taken schools and colleges rampant. My college originally went from saying spring break was extended to completely moving classes online for the next month. The problem - I live 20+ hours away from home, as I go to college in a completely different state. I’m being forced to go home and have hardly been given a notice or even days to move out - they’re just kicking me out in two days basically. I hardly have the funds to make this trip in gas and I will most likely have to stop at a hopefully and relatively cheap motel. That’s doesn’t bother me. It’s just sudden and I didn’t save up for this - I saved up to finish college - a payment in which they’re still implementing. I don’t have family in the state I’m currently attending college at and I’ve done everything I can to ask to stay and no one has let me. Wit having to move rapidly and fast, I won’t have a job for a while. I’ve got to figure out something out - does anyone have a corporate number I can call or should I transfer? The problem is my college is only looking at being close for a month but being out a job for a while month is harsh. And who wants to take in a month transfer?? I’m so stressed.

Ok so idk where you live but in my city at least all the college students are getting transferred. The receiving SM can’t deny it either, it’s out of their hands. My SM has asked about giving those barristas catastrophe pay but he has not received an answer yet. I assume corporate is trying to decide since this was a pretty sudden move by the colleges here.
