I think I’m gunna put down my apron and take that catastrophe pay. Even if it’s for two weeks, I’m almost 8 months pregnant and this whole coronavirus thing is starting to get to my head and keep me awake at night from worrying about my health, my unborn baby’s health and the health of my family.
If you’re manager gives a crap about you like mine does, they can literally work out anything for you to get that catastrophic pay.
No one should have to go to work worried about being exposed to a deadly virus.

My SM is not afraid to speak up to the DM, she puts him to work with requests
Thankfully you have an understand SM too! I’ve heard so many people that get threatened to lose the their jobs if the they request so many days off it blows my mind!

I have been on hold with partner resources for over an hour trying to get the catastrophe pay since I am immunocompromised so I'm hoping that I can get it, if not I'm just not going in for two weeks and will use all my sick time. There is no way I am risking my health for Starbucks! My school and office shut down, so Starbucks can as well.

Agreed! My manager is actually the one that did all the calls for me to make sure I got it so I’m super thankful 😭🙏🏼 but if two weeks isn’t enough I’ll probably use my sick time also!

Anyone know where to send the doctors note? I called PCC a few days ago and they said they’d have a specialist call me back to tell me the details like where to send the doctors note, but I haven’t heard back and it’s a mess trying to get ahold of someone.
