But even before that, just how awful we as barista’s are treated by disrespectful customers. You can only take so much of it before it really gets to you.

Customers are assholes everywhere. All corporations are money hungry pricks that’s how capitalism works. Starbucks is doing as much as they realistically can at this point, providing there’s partners that live off of that free meal and drink (used to be me). We are not in mortal danger, this is fear mongering at this point.
