So I’ve been sick with bronchitis, the flu, and just not that long ago got over strep. All of this was in the span of 4 months.

I received an action plan regarding my attendance and I really don’t want to get fired.

My telltale sign when I’m getting sick is a sore throat and coughing.

Today I woke up with those signs, other than that I seem and feel okay, but tomorrow that could change when I wake.

I don’t know what to do with this whole situation

Stay home. This is not the time to grin and bear it when you could expose hundreds of people to your illness. Call PCC.

Got their number?
saadro 3 points 3y ago
Messaged you since I’m not sure if it’s public info. Stay safe and good luck!

I have been unable to get past recordings about call volume.

Contact your SM and tell them you have having trouble contacting PCC and need their help.

I contacted my SM first before the line, they said I need to come in because of attendance and also people have been calling out due to worries and such.

...

I really don’t want to lose my job.

Your life, quite frankly everyone's lives, are worth more than Starbucks.

I’m not doubting that at all. However I need my job also.

I don’t honestly know what to do

Call PCC. Contact your DM. It’s not okay for your SM to fire you over this

I’m calling PCC about it now and how I should approach it

Any updates on your situation? Was PCC able to help you?
nightkat89 [OP] 2 points 3y ago
Call was too busy. Waited over an hour before I gave up.

Called into my store and looking for coverage for tomorrow then getting a hold of my pcp to possibly get tested
