I just wanna start by saying I love my job. I love working at starbucks, I love my team, and all our customers. Yesterday we closed the cafe, took out the furniture and changed to grab and go. It was the worst shift I’ve ever worked. The stress from the manager and the shifts created such an high anxiety work place. I totally understand the frustration because most of the day we were barely making double digits in customers. I was planted POS for most of the morning and it was the most stressful thing. Watching everyone around me push themselves while I just had to stand there, not get my coffee, warming, or even give a guest a straw. While I know a lot of people don’t want the stores to close, I feel like we’re losing money to keep us all there. The whole day the on edge feeling of being sent home and losing hours was so stressful. Grab and go is awful. Yesterday was really the worst shift I’ve ever worked, even after going home my anxiety was so high. I honestly am not looking forward to my shift in an hour. Stay safe everyone.❤️

We have been horribly let down. Trump may as well be running our virus response because Starbucks is doing just as badly.

At this going rate, I’m going to just going to sit on a shipper by the register and do little all day long.
