I finally got through... they took a lot of information about my concerns. I don't know if they were just humoring me, but she seemed sincerely disturbed and was sending a report up the chain... I am still willing to give them a chance to respond in good faith. Clock is ticking though.

Glad you got something many others haven’t. Even so it needs to be recorded. Records of what happened during this global crisis is very important. How the working class is being exploited. Let’s not forget how much CEOs and VPs are paid. Millions of dollars with no risk of life. The business model collapses without those at the bottom who are paid the least. They will be talking about Covid19 for 200 years just like the Spanish flu. Protect yourself record everything!

1. Check your state law concerning phone recordings. Most only require 1 party approval(yourself).
2. Download one of many call recording Apps
3. Record how they’re exploiting us, not paying us, killing us.
4. Spread across mainstream media and social media

I’ve never called them before but if they record on their side, then it’s safe to record on your side in ANY state. They can’t legally object to a recording if they record it themselves

After I got off my call with them this was my first thought. I should have recorded it. It would have been embarrassing because I began full on sobbing after the information I was given but we need records.

Sorry to hear that, I really hope you find a way to make things work in your favor. One of the best things about humans is their ability to adapt, to survive, to overcome! It’s unfortunate Starbucks is becoming a symbol of oppression among partners, but I’m going save my tears for now, there’s a battle to be fought. When we’re victorious then I’ll mourn.
