How are you? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hey guys!
How’s everyone doing at their stores?
Our store removed seating but we are still quite busy.
Still getting the usual Karen’s.
Not sure how this is encouraging social distancing? We still get groups of 3-4 people coming in to order at the same time, and long lines. Guess it’s hard to control people. People will do what they want.

Vancouver, Canada.

Same... too dead to justify bring here. Too busy to be safe for us or the community.
... and we look like a heartless company.

Sometimes looks aren't deceiving. Gone are the days of Schultz. The partners may still have the old spirit, but corporate has gone the other way. It's only a matter of time before this drives away the partners who have the old spirit and the staff becomes just as soulless as corporate.

That is, if they decide to not learn anything from this. They sent out a partner survey a couple days ago asking only 2 questions. 1-7 strongly disagree to strongly agree. Starbucks is living up to its ideals. The expectations Starbucks is for its partners are reasonable. Needless to say I hit 1 on both. I'd be shocked if even 1% of respondents did differently.

People are acting like raging assholes and making snide remarks when our drive thru is backed up (and we are, unsurprisingly, understaffed so of course it's backed up when hardly anyone is coming inside). This is making people act so ugly and I'm beyond discouraged.

Our store has been busier than ever. The people in my city do not care.

Agreed. They do not care.

My store did a 11 transaction HOUR not half hour. It’s been dead slow. We usually pull between 70-105 half hours
