my store is closed. no catastrophe pay bc other stores in my area are open. can i apply for unemployment or is it too soon? i have no money and no job and i’m kinda freaking out. most of my friend’s jobs are paying them (for at least 2 weeks) we do everything for the company and they do nothing for us

Yeah I feel this big time my store also closed earlier this week ... I’ve picked up a few shifts at another store(never been a borrowed partner before) but not as many as I need but thankfully I just got a refund for a class I dropped earlier this semester otherwise I would be fuckkkkkked

You should be able to file for unemployment as well. Many states are easing the guidelines.
Did they offer you shifts at other stores? Being a borrowed partner can be a fun time. Really.

Being a borrowed partner is fun I attest that myself... until it mean expanding my social circle further then Starbucks already makes me expand it... thanks but that’s not the answer to this.

i just finished my first shift as a borrow partner! it was quite fun actually. will be filing for unemployment soon, but i’m trying to pick up some shifts at our other stores
