What’s the best way to ask my store manager if I could become a trainer? It’s gotten to where I’m always being asked to teach new and old baristas how to do things around the store, but haven’t been paid for it nor have been promoted to trainer.

I just went up to my SM and said “I’m thinking of becoming a barista trainer, how do I get started with that process” and then was asked to do a few modules and was training within the month. Once you get started though and get your first trainee definitely remind your SM to give you your bonus. Apparently they forgot often.
