Is sick time useable? (self.starbucksbaristas)

With everything happening I feel very unsafe working anymore. I asked my SM if I was able to use my sick time (because I have almost 60 hours) to stay home until I feel comfortable coming back to work. He told me I had to use vacation time or just take a leave of absence. Can anyone shed light on this?

May be manager's discretion. My SM allowed me to use sick leave to self quarantine. It also could be your SM is pulling BS. It could be DM discretion. I'm not sure where the line is, but I'm 100% certain I was approved for sick leave to self quarantine.
