(Tried to crosspost my original post from r/starbucks, but this sub won’t allow that so here you go.)
As the title reads, tomorrow is the Annual Shareholders Meeting. For those of you that are unfamiliar with it—the Shareholders Meeting is a once a year event where shareholders come together to discuss and **VOTE** on issues and topics within Starbucks. In short, it’s the governing body of the company. **YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE SHAREHOLDERS**
What’s different this year is that instead of the meeting being held in person, it will be online beginning at 11AM (PST).
With that said, this also means that *anyone* who is a partner or who holds vested stock units can join it. Here you will be able to **VOTE** and ask questions during the meeting.
There are two ways to access it and you will need a control number to do so:
$1 or
$1 Those who can access this option are recommended to do so as it will be a much smoother process.
**Accessing your control number:**
1)Login
2)Go to **Accounts and Trade**
3)Select **Statements**
4)Select **Proxy Materials** where you’ll see **Proxy Type / Control Number** for your shares.
I am imploring **all** partners who have the ability to join it to do so. Make our collective voices heard to our corporate “leaders” who are sitting in their homes making decisions about the company that we are the literal backbone of. If you have any unanswered questions, here is a link to the
$1 where it will show you more in-depth.
Keep fighting the good fight, ladies and gents!
