One of our customers straight up yelled at the baristas this morning because we “Weren’t practising social distancing and should be standing 6 feet apart from each other”

And how would they like us to, um, actually work, when we are 6 feet apart from each other. Our bars are right next to each other, when you’re in DT you stand right next to each other, just DONT COME IN!!!!!! I go in at 2pm today, not looking forward to it

I live in Ontario as well and I have no words with how Starbucks is reacting to this; how is coffee an essential? I'm confused and disappointed... most importantly frustrated because I don't want to go to work knowing thag MULTIPLE people will just constantly pass through like it's no big deal. This sucks! 😔

I’m in Toronto. Multiple stores in my district are closing. But for some ungodly reason our DM is fighting to keep our store open even though other restaurants and cafes on the block are closing. We get maybe 300 customers a day now. We’re not making a profit. Our store hours are reduced but if we’re not making Kevin his precious money WHATS EVEN THE POINT???

I’m in Toronto too! My district is way downtown. Everyone is shut down around us. One of our coworkers is a part time nurse and he’s getting tested right now
