Today someone Uber ordered 3 trenta berry hibiscus refreshers, no ice, no berries. I measured out the liquid in the tea shaker and put it in the cups. No cheating the system this time! The cups were just over half full 🤷🏼♀️(self.starbucksbaristas)

I like the way you think 😂

I totally feel you that it’s crazy annoying, but that’s technically against policy
thenarwhalsbarista1 points3y ago
I've heard it both ways, and different managers tell us different things. Does it say somewhere what the policy actually is?

It’s somewhere in the beverage resource manual, not sure what page

Omg who cares, just make the damn drink. It's not that serious.

I've been tempted to do this so many times.

It just kinda feels good to be petty 😂

I know this is contradictory and possibly new information to some people, BUT, I had a lengthy conversation with my DM about all this. What he said was: Always fill every cup to the top, no matter what the request is. Iced drinks with no ice should be filled to the top with the correct proportions of each ingredient. So half water, half base, or more milk depending on what the drink is. On top of this, Starbucks is no longer charging for over 3/4 oz of milk in drinks or the addition of alternative milks. Example: Someone orders 3 shots of espresso in a venti cup with ice, filled with cream. You would pull three shots in the cup, stuff it with ice, and then fill the rest of the cup with cream or their milk of choice without charging for the dairy or non dairy option. HOWEVER, and the part I have trouble accepting, we are still charging extra for the use of alternative milk in drinks that come made with milk. Example: A grande hot latte made with coconut milk would be up charged for the coconut milk replacing the 2%.

There is no policy on what to do in this situation, so sorry I just wanted justice 🤷🏼♀️ it's been that kind of day

Confused what you mean by justice. How does this affect you at all? Other than just using more juice in a drink.
