I've activated my sick leave and will use it all up before I apply for crisis pay leave. I feel like crisis pay will get easier and longer very quickly, so I'm eating all my sick leave to get to the point where Starbucks is taking this seriously. It pisses me off that I have to play this game, but I'm focused on protecting myself and those around me during this global crisis and am encouraging everyone I know to do the same.

They will make this right eventually or I'm going to cry havoc to anyone who will listen. This isn't just about me. I'm taking these risks to protect all the others in my situation and I trust my ability to remain anonymous. If you're willing to do the same, do so.

If not, just realize this job isn't worth your life or the lives around you if they want to force you to make that decision.
