So I work at a Starbucks in a popular mall and my city has had multiple cases now so the mall is shutting down. I heard Starbucks might be offering a pay till we open again on the 6th but nothing has been confirmed yet. How is Starbucks treating all of you guys so far in this?

I called PCC this morning and talked to a guy who sounded like he didn't give a shit when I stated that I don't feel safe working anymore due to the pandemic. He told me that I had to talk to my manager and then use sick and vacation time to be paid anything. When I called my manager and said that I wanted to take 2 weeks off she offered to talk to someone higher up about the catastrophe pay and then told me to call PCC again. My second call, the person told me that they have recently updated information about catastrophe pay. **Since I don't feel safe to go to work I will get 14 days of catastrophe pay. After that period, if I still don't feel safe returning to work I will have to use my sick and vacation time.**
