From what they said they made it sound that all dt/ cafe store still open will be switching to DT only. More to come they said.
ALSO it is reconfirmed that if your store is closed, you are not forced to pick up shifts at other stores (you qualify for catastrophe pay) and if you are feeling unsafe and do not feel comfortable coming to work, alert your store manager and let them know you’ll be utilizing cat pay. If anyone says no or otherwise, reach out to your DM. stay safe, partner.

Just told 60 partners that they will get paid for 2 weeks of remaining scheduled shifts, then potential will not be back to work for 90 days if not longer. Just be careful what you wish for with these store closings. Probably going to go way longer than any cat pay can cover. I’m honestly thankful what partners want to work still have an opportunity in my dt store

Nobody wishes for this. I was in favor (vocally with management) of this move. It stinks, but it is necessary, it is right, and I know it was not easy to pull the plug. I applaud corporate for exceeding what my State and Federal "leaders" have done. I hope for a return to business sooner than later. Be safe, be well.

We are in Target Starbucks and our DM just told us we are staying open , quote definitely not closing !

It was implied that some of these grocery stores with Starbucks in them would support “seasonal baristas” with hours because the grocery stores are getting crushed and zero training would go into it. At least an option for my area offered as potential temporary income
