I want to take the 30 days paid but I’m nervous (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’ve been starting to feel sick and Its been making me consider taking the 30 days off, but no one else at my work has. I’m nervous my sm will be mad about trying to find coverage (we’re a high volume dt and somehow still busy) or think I’m slacking. I honestly just feel anxious being there and me starting to feel sick is making it feel all too real. I’m not even sure how to bring it up to her - especially since she hasn’t actually told us herself about it. I’m not sure what to do.

If you feel unsafe you should definitely take the pay! Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for deciding to take care of yourself. If your manager isn’t telling you the information then call ppc.
