I don’t understand the 30 day break/pay thing....

1.) Do I have to accept the pay somewhere, or will it just be automatic?

2.) Does anyone know how much the pay will be?

3.) Is there anything else regarding the pay start/end that you may know?

It's automated... Managers have been told they don't need to do anything. Everyone is getting paid their average weekly hours, those who continue to work will get paid it also and then anything they work over their average.

Example: you're in school and work 12 hours a week average. If you take 30 days off now, you're paid 12 hours a week until April 20th. If you continue working and work 8 hours, you're paid for 12. If you work 20, you're paid for 20.

If you do 40 hours a week, you'll be paid for 40 hours whether you work or not. There may be incentives coming but only those who already said they'll keep working will be contacted most likely

do you know what period the “average” hours come from? I usually work about 30 but off and on the last few months I worked closer to 40, so I’m just curious.

Don't quote me on it but I believe it's the last 4 weeks of normal operation

From what I understand, it's as of yesterday (3/21) to 4/20. If you wait, you will not necessarily get anything past that date. You need to talk to your SM and they are supposed to set it up. If they say that you don't qualify, they're wrong and you will probably have to call PCC (888)728-9411 or (866)504-7368. Tell them that you don't feel safe working. No one knows for sure how the pay will work, but it will most likely be an average of your weekly hours. I really hope that corporate tells us more information soon. They're hinting at some sort of incentive to keep people at drive thru stores working.

I have a question to add. Does this effect any benefits like health insurance?
aimsthename88 2 points 3y ago
No, that was specifically mentioned in Roseann’s letter. Any hours paid (worked or unworked) count towards benefits.
