You’ll get your normal pay either way, so really it’s like working for $3 an hour. When I view it that way, I’m not sure if it’s worth it to risk my health or the health of my family members

But if I don’t work and take the catastrophe pay, I won’t get an extra 3$ an hour right? I definitely don’t mind working so much if I’m getting paid more to do so.

This is false. If a lot of stores are looking for partners who need/want more hours due to others using cat pay. Most partners will be getting increased hours with the absence of others.

Corporate has little control over licensed stores. You’ll have to talk to your manager.

Haha, then talk to the store you guys are in about how you don’t feel safe at work. Up to them. Again corporate has little control over licensed stores.
