Absolutely fed up (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by nana-ana
I’m SO tired of customers literally walking or children riding their bikes through our DT without a care in the world. I cannot understand what goes through your brain to decide to do that. It’s dangerous and just stupid, and I’m tired of people getting annoyed at me for telling them to gtfo and I’m not gonna serve them. I don’t know why any of my partners are actually taking their orders either???

According to my SM, we have the right to refuse service as not only is it dumb but it is a safety issue. Because if anything happens to these people while they waltz through the drive-thru, it ultimately ends up being the drive-thru's fault

Partners are taking their orders???? Bro. I’ve Lowkey become the enforcer for our drive thru rules being maintained. While my shifts would say the same things as I’m saying I’m just already more available on the floor and my partners know I don’t tolerate anything. Although I did feel really bad when I had to deny a truck driver a cappuccino... but other than that I’m not catering to these customers. I’m not risking my health or my partners’ health moreso than we already are so you can get a pumpkin loaf. Gtfo

Yeah I think some of them felt bad for some of the kids because they don’t have cars to order from, but like...they should be home anyway not wandering around our DT

Exactly!! Stay home everyone. It should only be essential workers coming through. Not your whole ass family craving something sweet
