Can you elaborate more on the food benefit please?

Partners can receive one free food item per day (same as how you would per shift) as long as it’s ordered at the store rather than through mobile order. And this is regardless of whether you are working or not.

The reason being that many partners (including myself) rely on our benefits as our primary source of food intake, so due to reduced hours or store closures, if there’s a store nearby or you’re choosing not to work to self-isolate, you can still take advantage of this benefit.

Anyone else think it's absurd that people who work for this company have to rely on a free food markout to eat? Maybe if they paid us a living wage all year round we could afford to buy food and pay rent.

Please don't take the 30 days to self isolate and then show up at a store to claim the food benefit, can confirm its very demoralising to the staff who are staying at work. And also, defeats the purpose of allowing staff to choose to 'self isolate'

My partners know my situation, so if I start showing up they know it’s because I ran out of food and can’t afford to go to the store. I understand how annoying it can be but don’t assume that everyone has ill intent when they do this!!

Oh that’s good to know! Thank you for sharing with us

Do you still get the total pay you would get for the hours you have scheduled that are listed on the schedule? Like I took the thirty days but I’m scheduled 28 hours this week, so do I still get paid for 28 hours?
lizzybeth722 [OP] 1 points 3y ago
From my understanding, starting yesterday if you’ve opted out of working you’ll be getting paid based on an average of hours you worked between Feb 3 and Mar 1 but if you had time off or something like that I’d talk to your manager just to get it sorted out. I have a partner that took the entire month of February off and I believe they’re getting paid for a minimum of 20 hours average (somewhere in the Partner Hub COVID19 update it mentioned that if the partner is new or has no hours in that period to take an average from they’d be getting paid for an average of 20 hours per week, SSV would be getting paid for 30 I believe)
