At first I was excited about the extra $3 but now that I think about it... is it really worth it? If they can afford to pay us extra why haven’t they been doing n it the entire time? I make $15 an hour and work an average of 35 + hours a week so I’m thinking it’s better to stay home and get paid to stay home than to work and risk everyone’s health. I work at a BUSY location with lots of first response people and right next to a bunch of shops that are still open so it’s really risky . On the other hand that’s an extra almost $450 into my savings if I do work through it. What are you guys choosing to do ?

Yeah I took the cat pay, IMO you work an 8 hour shift, get exposed to over 200+ people...and get an extra $24 to then go expose your friends and family to the virus. Not worth it to me in the slightest. If you can pay me 1.5x for working on Christmas Day, 3 bucks extra isn’t even half of what it’d take.

Yeah I literally make more money getting 1.5 x

im staying home. its not worth the extra 3 bucks an hour for me to be stressed out at work worrying about getting sick.

If you really wanted to make $, you could probably take cat pay & pick up shifts at your local grocery store or Amazon or wherever is hiring, or even pick up online side hustles.

You make 15$ normally!? Wow what’s your states minimum wage? I only make 9.15

I’m in AZ our min wage is $12. Starbucks pays like 15 cents over that I’m sure and I’m a shift so I make $3 more than them .

My cost of living is probably higher too. My rent is $1250 😭

Ohh wow...I thought you lived in NY or California. Didn’t know AZ had a high living cost.
