I love how starbucks think that paying us $3 more an hour compensates is for everything happening right now LMAO

It’s 100% your choice to work if you don’t think an extra $3 an hour is sufficient, however some people really need the money during this time. You can either take cat pay, work almost 2x the minimum wage pay, or quit and stop complaining. It’s that easy. Considering most companies have closed without pay or benefits, maybe you should have a little gratitude...

I was just talking about this with my brother. It irritates me how partners are complaining!! We are getting a lot more than other workers out there, some are just out of work. Waitresses who live on tips now have nothing. Be grateful you have income right now. Whether that’s taking The 30 DAYS or the $3 extra / hr just be grateful because at least it something

At least your getting paid more my husband works in a non essential retail store all they got was 14 weeks of sick time and the store closes at 8. Not even curb side pickup for orders so there is minimal contact. He is constantly around people who don’t want to stay home all day.

Damn that’s really unfortunate. I hate that there isn’t a uniform response to this situation for Starbucks.
