As others have stated since you already get the base pay working or not you're actually only getting paid the 3 dollars per hour. Unless you pick up a lot of extra shifts then it totally isnt worth the risk

I mean. Most of my partners are making three extra an hour AND working 2x the hours they usually would. So... They are making easily twice what they would

except the fact that we’re making tips right now too. $74 extra a week that’s another $148 biweekly. $388 extra a paycheck Is more than my half of the rent so idk. And I heard you have to wait for a check in the mail when you take the 30 days but idk if that’s true

Bro you make 74 in tips?!? What the hell. We Barry get 20 for 20 hours
kvllifornia 5 points 3y ago
I usually average $35-50 a week for 36-39 hours. But with everything going on people are TIPPING. We’re the only store in our district open so we’re really playing on that lmao

Source? My SM told me otherwise

Logic and math is the source bro.

You get paid what you're scheduled for regardless if you work or not. So you're technically only making 3 dollars per hour of work you actually work.

Unless you pick up more hours than you're scheduled for you wont really be making much more money.

I mean I must have misunderstood your original comment, I personally will be making more money. Think of it this way, I only make $200-$300 every two weeks. Add that extra $3 an hour and it makes a difference to me. I am making more money by choosing to work than I would be if I stayed home.

True but if you think of it as you'd be making $12 at home doing absolutely nothing, then $15 working. You're technically only doing all that work for $3 an hour.
It's just to put into perspective that technically Starbucks is only paying you $3 an hour to come into work.
