I was wondering if anyone who took the 30 days, have you tried to go back and work? I’m not getting scheduled enough hours so far to be able to pay my bills and I really need to go back but I’m nervous about asking my store manager because when I told her I was taking the 30 days she sounded annoyed and just told me to leave. I don’t know what to do. Please only comment on this if you’re going to be helpful:))

My SM clarified that (in my district at least) we can still pick up shifts for extra hours/tips without sacrificing our cat pay.
However, I’m still in the camp that strongly believes the best thing any of us can do right now is stay home and reduce the chance of spreading the virus.

Yeah we cant do that in my city. Once you decide you want to come back to work at all, no more cat pay.

I heard that once you start it you couldn’t go back. Or maybe you can and you just can’t restart / go back into the CatPay

I’m pretty sure you can go back, according to what my SM told me. They said if I got bored and wanted to pick up hours, I am more than welcome. HOWEVER, if you were placed on quarantine by STARBUCKS, you cannot return until after your (30 days?).

if you were placed in quarantine by the company you can come back after your 14 days of quarantine if that helps at all!

i talked to my manager about this, and she told me that we are allowed to come back. it just can’t be the time off then back to work over and over
