Oo!
I'm reading "The Indifferent Stars Above", a book about the Donner Party. If you're into learning a lot about what people packed into their covered wagons, and how they dealt with their own hubris, it's an outstanding read.

Parable of the sower! Octavia Butler is an incredible black woman author and this book feels especially relevant considering the apocalyptic like feel goin on rn

The Library Book by Susan Orlean, great read about libraries and librarians (I'm getting my Masters in Library Science so I may be a little biased ha ha)

I always recommend “Smoke and Mirrors” by Neil Gaiman, it’s a nice collection of short stories by him and it’s easy to pick up and set down when I’m doing things.

Right now I'm reading The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. It's a trilogy, but they're very easy and enjoyable to read. It took me about two weeks of casual reading. Very fun, lots of violence and scheming and a bit of magic

I always recommend The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. One of my favorite books, I’ve reread it so many times.
